Statistical Process Control: 4, 8 or 16 hour sessions
A simplified or deeper-level review of what is SPC, when and how does one select to use SPC vs a Run chart, determination of limits, and the application of the ‘rules’ of SPC management. Customization options available.
Attendees learn and practice control charting for attributes (items counted as good/bad, pass/fail, yes/no) and variable (those that are measured, such as dimensions, ingredients ratios, time) for both fixed and variable sample sizes. For the multiple-day sessions, a review of process capability indicies (CpK) is included. This allows an organization to be able to predict its failure rates versus specification.
