Statistical Tools: Variation, Histograms, SPC: ½ day

An overview of variation and how it impacts data analysis and decision making.

The session provides an overview of natural variation; what it is and how to distinguish it from ‘caused’ change or variation. At the end of this session the participants will avoid the tendency to make evaluative judgments based on what feels to be a difference and will rely instead on statistical significance.
